Impression Obsession “All About Dies” Blog Hop Day Three

Good Thursday morning. Welcome to day three of the Impression Obsession three day “All About Dies” design team blog hop. Be sure and check out the IO blog to get the scoop on how you can win your choice of three dies.

For my project today I used the Bunny Set, Swirl Tree, Grass Border and Butterfly Set.

I fell in love with the bunny set the first time I saw it.  The bunnies are so adorable and I think they pair perfectly with the whimsical swirl tree.

I cut three trees, applied rolled glue dots on the back of each tree’s key branches and small pieces of mounting tape on the trunk bases and attached them to the card base. I hand cut a green ground piece to fit along the bottom of the card base using my deckle scissors.  I applied adhesive to the back of the ground piece and attached one section of the grass border. I applied a strip of mounting tape and attached it to the card base.

The bunnies were tucked into the grass area and attached with mounting tape for added dimension.  I punched 1/4” circles in different colors of paper, attached several of them with glossy accents to create little egg groupings and tucked into the grass.  I knew only a portion of each circle would show and could easily represent eggs. I applied glossy accents to the eggs and sprinkled on clear glitter for sparkle but it doesn’t how well in the photos.  I added a few brightly colored butterflies to the scene for a pop of color and the perfect finishing touch.
