Good Wednesday morning. My project today was made with the newly released Memory Box Village House. I knew it would be a fun card to create a pretty garden around.
I started by cutting the house out twice, once in blue and another in white. I cut the roof, windows and door off the white and attached over the blue with glossy accents. The door is cut so it will stay open but I secured it shut by adhering a small strip of white cardstock on the back. I attached small foliage pieces and tiny flowers to the windows and door with glossy accents to embellish.
I cut the frame and attached to the card base with mounting tape. I attached double layers of mounting tape to the back of the house and attached in the frame opening. I attached a tree from the Evergreen Landscape to both sides of the house. I cut sections of the Grass Border to use as flower stems, attached tiny flowers with glossy accents and attached them on both sides of the house. I attached a section of Fresh Cut Grass across the front of the scene with mounting tape so it would stand out a bit from the house and flower garden to add more dimension. I added three pink butterflies for the finishing touch.
I appreciate you looking in and I hope you have a great day.
