Good Wednesday morning. My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge.I pulled out my Impression Obsession Layered Hearts die and paired it with Spellbinders Heart Square. The colors for the challenge were Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana.
Here’s what I came up with.
This is a little out of my norm but I thought the layered heart die would look great against the yellow background with all the layers popped up for dimension.
I popped up the a few of the larger negative hearts in the main heart image as well as on the tag. I was fairly challenged trying to add the slate color to this so I only used used it on my sentiment. Is that cheating?? LOL!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Paper: Yellow, Aqua, White Ink: Basic Gray Accessories: Impression Obsession Layered Hearts, Mini Square Tags, Spellbinders Heart Squares, Mounting Tape, Metal Adapter Plate , Glue Dots , Paper Piercer , ATG , Big Shot , Teflon Bone Folder, Guillotine Paper Cutter
This is adorable. I love the colors. Your work is always so polished.
And being out of your norm is what makes it so fun and unpredictable. I think it is a great, fun card that is easy to mail and still has a lot of eye-popping interest.
This card is gorgeous. I love the colors.
Beautiful card!Love your colors,AWESOME!!!
You made a fabulous card Kittie! Those hearts jumped right up and took my attention right off! Love how you layered a few of the die cut hearts right back onto the main outline of hearts! (These were my school colors :D) And stunning choice of layers too! Thanks for sharing, (and thank you for stopping by my blog! I’m in awe of your work!)
Beautifully done Kittie, very eye catching colors.
I hope all is well, and you are ok, and just enjoying life, get worried when I don’t see posts from my favorite bloggers, take care and again hope all is well, looking forward to your next creation.
Hugs
