My project is one I made for the challenge I am hosting today. I will give you all the details of how I made my card but you will have to go over to my forum post to see what my challenge is.
I started by creating my Belleek Inspired background. If you would like to see step by step photos of how I make this background you can check my Belleek Inspired tutorial here. I cut and attached the frame and sentiment to the background with mounting tape.
I cut several pieces of leafy flourish and arranged them on the frame and attached with glossy accents. I cut both butterflies, painted the base butterfly to match the background ink and attached them together and then to the arrangement of foliage. This is so soft and pretty and I love how it turned out.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you are enjoying playing in the Dare To Get Dirty challenges this week.

I love this card and the softness of the colors…I struggle with pastels, but I do love them.
Can’t remember if I mentioned a new product to you that’s great for adhereing intricate die cuts…E6000 now comes in a spray mist and it dries in 1 to 3 minutes, dries clear (it really does) and you don’t get that clear glossy ooze around the edges of your die cuts like you do with other adhesives that profess to dry clear. I just make my cuts, place them face down in a shoe box, mist them and then use tweezers to place them on my project. I love this product…I saw it on a blog and I found it at Michael’s…regularly $9.99 for a nice size bottle, but I used a 40% off coupon, so it was really inexpensive. A bottle should last forever. You do need to follow the instructions on the bottle for cleaning the nozzle when you are finished, but I found it very easy…just have to flush it good so glue doesn’t dry in the nozzle….easy. Some other products that say they dry clear really don’t like this E6000.
Anyway, if I’ve already told you this, please forgive the duplication…otherwise, hope you find it helpful. Your butterfly reminded me of it….hope your eyes are doing okay now….I fear the same is ahead of me one day. Take care.
Love your card!GORGEOUS card!!!Love the soft colors!!!
I always learn something from you…. I really need to get a Brayer, Love this affect!!!!!

Kittie, this is just stunning….. I love the delicate look. And I already have the butterfly die, but not the embossing folders so you know what that means….lol.
