Good Sunday morning. I have a whimsical project to share with you today with a tree full of flowers mimicking the trees in the background, a window and lots of butterflies.
I love the trees in the designer paper and thought it would be a great background for a scene. I used the Impression Obsession Tree die and paired it with the Arched Fence, Grass Border and the Poppystamps Small Madison Window.
The Tree Die was cut using green to match the trees in the background and I used foliage made using the Martha Stewart Branch Punch to fill in the tree. I filled the tree even more by adding lots of pink flowers made using the Flower Mound.
The window was popped up on the card base with mounting tape and the tree was attached to the card base with rolled glue dots. The grass border was attached to the front of the fence and then they were attached to the card base with mounting tape. I added tiny flowers to the grass border and added several pink butterflies to the scene for the finishing touch.
Here’s a closer view of the tree and flowers. I like that the flower tree matches the shape of the designer paper trees.
I’m glad you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderful day,
