Winter Night Deer and Tree Scene

Good Wednesday morning.  My project today was made using the newly released Impression Obsession Small Deer, Fir Trees and Fir Tree Border.  The background paper was so perfect for a winter’s night scene and I thought it would look so pretty done in all white.  Sorry to have two white scene cards in a row.  LOL!

The Fir Trees may be my new favorite evergreen tree die yet.  I love the shape and the three different sizes in the set.  The trees match the Fir Tree Border perfectly.  I used that for my top layer of ground and added the taller trees in the background.

I used my wave crimper to add snowy dimension to all three layers, attached the bottom of each layer to the card base with ATG adhesive and separated them a little along the border of each using small pieces of mounting tape.  I attached the trees and deer with mounting tape to create dimension and to bring the scene to life.

I took all three of the pictures in low light to create a soft quiet snowy night scene.  Here is a photo of the card in full light.

  2. One word comes to mind…GORGEOUS! My husband would love this card because we live among the woods with tons of pine trees, along with deer and turkeys and other critters. You look out any window in the house and it’s green pine trees all year round, even when it snows!
