Impression Obsession “Quick and Simple Card” Challenge

Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession design team “Quick and Simple Card” challenge.  My project today was made using the Watercolor Poinsettia and Christmas Cheer sentiment.

One of my greatest joys in card marking is the design process. I love pushing the envelope to see how natural I can get die cuts to look in a scene or how lifelike I can make a floral project. But when the Christmas rush hits, time is very limited and I still need ten more cards to send out to family and friends I turn to something quick and simple.  And it doesn’t get more simple than my card today.

A simple stamped image can be dressed up quite a bit just by layering with mounting tape rather than flat to the card base. It only takes a second more to add a couple strips of tape to the back of the image and framing layer than it does to roll on ATG adhesive but the added dimension makes it worth it.

I added a sentiment and a simple multi loop bow  to dress it up a little more and the card was finished.
