Good Sunday morning. My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper challenge and the featured artist for our challenge was Lorraine Aquilina. I never really think about using the negative of a die cut on my projects because I am always into creating as much dimension as I can. I was inspired by Lorraine’s Hello Spring card found here where she used both the negative and positive of the Dancing Tulips die. I created a clean and simple thank you card made using the Impression Obsession Leafy Branch die for the negative and added dimension with the Layered Floral Set and Elizabeth Craft Designs Thanks sentiment.
I cut the branch and attached it to the card base with mounting tape. Even though I was using the negative branch image I still wanted to have a bit of dimension.
I formed my layered flowers with my stylus and molding pad and attached them to the branch with glossy accents. I filled the center of each flower with tiny white pearls. I popped the sentiment up with rolled micro glue dots.
I love the simplicity of the all white main layer and with the pops of green and red. Well…..red, white and green are my all time favorite color combination.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Sunday.
So gorgous!!!
Kittie, this is so pretty….. It looks so simple to make and then I look at the flowers and smile and say yes, Kittie can them….lol…. Truly a gorgeous card… thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity….

Oh so pretty!! I love the CAS style….clean and simple, but very elegant.
I’ve not been by for a while Kittie and I have very much enjoyed flying through some of your recent posts. I really liked your cowboy wood grain card BTW. It’s very different from your usual cards and I loved the lariat too. This floral card is so pretty. I love the use of your positive and negative dies. Hugs, Lesley

Good Monday Evening, Kittie;
What joy you bring to me each day with you wonderful cards. I get so excited about trying things. I used the Dahlia die last week, it was my first time making a dimensional flower, I had so much fun and it turned out well. I forgot to take a photo. I just read your “window” tutorial and that is next. Thank you for your daily inspiration and TFS.
Outstanding! … I don’t always comment (more of a quiet admirer of your work but… beautiful! 🙂
Stunning card! I absolutely love it.
