Clean and Simple Valentine

Good Wednesday morning.  My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple Challenge to use a tag on our card. I wanted to stay true to the challenge and keep my card basic with all of the focus on the single Mini Rolled Rose with the Leaf Clusters. This is the first time this Valentine season that I have used my Martha Stewart Double Heart PATP set. I thought it would be sweet with the heart shaped frame made using the largest heart from the new Impression Obsession Heart Set. I used the Stampin’ Up! Tiny Tags stamps and punch for the sentiment tag.

I punched the heart border and then die cut the heart frame opening. I love my new magnetic platform. Winking smile I applied mounting tape and attached it to the card base.

I used my tweezers to roll the rose and turned back the petals to give a more natural appearance.  I attached the rose inside the frame opening with glossy accents and tucked a few of the leaves around to add another color and dimension.

I stamped the sentiment on the tag using versa and embossed with gold embossing powder. I attached it to the rose and added the tiny gold bow as the final finishing touch.  I think this is so sweet.
