Good Tuesday morning.  I love creating a projects with a decorative layer or border.  Impression Obsession has just released three border dies and my card today was made using the Fancy Cut Border. I paired it with flowers made using the new Bunch of Blossoms die and Leaves and Stems

I started by placing my cardstock on my magnetic platform and setting the die in place for the first border cut. I moved the die over and lined up for the second cut.  I can’t tell you how much easier it was to do a multi cut on the magnetic platform and get it and keep it lined up perfectly straight.  No tape needed!  I attached thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the panel and attached it to the card base.

I cut three five petal flowers and several stems and formed them with my stylus and molding pad.  I attached the flowers to the card base with glossy accents and then tucked the foliage in around the flowers.  I wanted the floral bouquet to be an embellishment to the project without covering up the beautiful background pattern. I finished by adding tiny white pearls to the flower centers. I think this would make a perfect Easter card.
