Good Tuesday morning. I love creating a projects with a decorative layer or border. Impression Obsession has just released three border dies and my card today was made using the Fancy Cut Border. I paired it with flowers made using the new Bunch of Blossoms die and Leaves and Stems.
I started by placing my cardstock on my magnetic platform and setting the die in place for the first border cut. I moved the die over and lined up for the second cut. I can’t tell you how much easier it was to do a multi cut on the magnetic platform and get it and keep it lined up perfectly straight. No tape needed! I attached thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the panel and attached it to the card base.
I cut three five petal flowers and several stems and formed them with my stylus and molding pad. I attached the flowers to the card base with glossy accents and then tucked the foliage in around the flowers. I wanted the floral bouquet to be an embellishment to the project without covering up the beautiful background pattern. I finished by adding tiny white pearls to the flower centers. I think this would make a perfect Easter card.
I am so happy you came by and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Stunning, Kittie. Love that rich lavender. The flowers are lovely. Loving the die.
Gorgeous….love this purple (grape)….took my breath as soon as, I opened this up. Neat way that you did the border background…ummm now should I get his one instead of that other one…couldn’t find that at Ellen’s yesterday. So many ways to use this border as you have shown us.
Spring is coming….
Very pretty. Love how you used the background border. Absolutely love the color of paper you used to create your card also.

This floral spray is a beauty & really shows off the Leaves & Stems die at its best, Kittie! The background? So reminiscent of Grandma’s rose trellis …. {{heart}}.
WoW, Kittie this card is gorgeous!!! The impression obsession border die is a must have, it is going on the top of my get well wish list! The floral spray is beautiful. Purple is my favourite colour, so this is tops in my favs. Thank you for the step by step on the background with the border dies, I will be trying that in the future. Looked in my art room today, it is a disaster and I am sad. I need to get back in my art room. Next project make art room wheelchair/walker accessible.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful card today.
