Hollyhocks Floral Spray

Good Tuesday morning.  Typepad has been having issues for a few days so I am writing this post in hopes that you will be able to see it.  LOL!  My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple Challenge to use pale green, pale plum and lavender.  Here’s what I came up with.

I love creating projects with soft colors against an all white background.  To add interest and dimension to this background I used Anja’s Border popped up with mounting tape

I cut several pieces of hollyhocks in both pale plum and lavender and several leafy branches, formed them lightly with my stylus and molding pad and attached them to the border layer with glossy accents to create a floral sprayI added an organdy multi loop bow for the finishing touch.  I think this is so soft and feminine.

  2. Oh Kittie….I just love this one. I don’t know if it’s the soft colors or just the whimsy looking flowers together. It so soft and pretty and looks so spring-y!

  3. I couldn’t comment when you first posted it. I love this card. The way you have used the hollyhock die is amazing. I bought the hollyhock die for my Mother’s Day gift. The spray of flowers with the border is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this beautifully inspiring card.
