Framed Vase of Hollyhocks

Good Tuesday morning.  My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple challenge to use pale green, coral and pale coral. I created a vase of flowers using the Impression Obsession Vase Set, Hollyhocks, Leafy Branch and a frame using the Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Rectangles with a decorative border made using Marianne Designs Anja’s Flowers.

I arranged the foliage and hollyhocks by attaching to the back of the vase with glossy accents. I added the shortest pieces of foliage and flowers first and continued attaching the larger pieces to complete the arrangement.

I cut the frame by placing the cardstock on my magnetic platform and arranging the dies evenly and cut.  I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached to the card base.  I applied mounting tape to the back of the vase and attached in place inside the frame. The decorative border was attached to the frame using glossy accents.

This is a really simple design but I think this card would be perfect for any occasion.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day.
