The Reading Tree

Good Friday morning.  My project today was made using the newly released Impression Obsession Reading Tree set and Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames paired with the Grass Border, Small Grass Border, Small Bird set, Tiny Flowers and Cloud Set.

I love the new frame set.  I has so many possibilities.  I thought the thin scalloped border frame would be perfect to highlight the scene.  I cut it, attached the grass border to the back of it with ATG adhesive, applied thin strips of mounting tape and popped it up on the all white card base.  I cut three in green and didn’t bother to color the trunk or branches with brown because I liked how bright it looked with the aqua frame and clouds.  I tucked it in behind the grass border and attached to the card base with thin pieces of mounting tape. I attached a few tiny flowers in the background.

I colored the little boy reader with Copic markers and attached him to the grass border with mounting tape.  I added a few more touches of red by adding the red birds.

  6. Kittie – this is just darling. You have to be the most patient person I know. So exacting. Love your creations. Still hoping you’ll post some more videos. I know they are a lot of work to produce – but would love to watch you make these mini works of art. Happy weekend!
