Love, Cupid and Hearts Valentine

Good Saturday morning. Whew!  I am so happy the weekend is here.  How about you?  I've gotten home late from work a few nights this week and wasn't able to post as often as I like.

I have a clean and simple Valentine to share with you today using the Impression Obsession Love Border Word, Mini Heart Row and Cupids.  Although this is a simple card I love the added element of interest the cut out hearts bring..

I started by placing the love sentiment  die on the red cardstock and lining up on the magnetic platform and cutting.  I repeated the steps with the mini heart row die and cut the borders on both the top and bottom of the red layer.

I rolled up pieces of 1/4” double stick tape and attached to the love lettering so it would stand away from the card base.  I attached the sentiment layer to the card base with mounting tape.  I finished by attaching the sweet cupid to the red layer with mounting tape.  I think both cupids in this set are precious.  I wanted to use them both but there just wasn’t enough room.

Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have a relaxing and restful weekend.

  3. Kittie, your card is wonderful! Needless to say I LOVE the impact of the colors. The cupid is adorable, I must order them. Yesterday I was cleaning up my office and came across something similar I did last year for a bottle label. These coincidences always make me smile. TFS.
