Good Sunday morning. My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge. Our inspiration site this week was the Mod Wedding Cakes Pinterest board. I was inspired by so many of the gorgeous cakes I almost went into inspiration overload. I finally decided on the Magenta and White cake found here. I paired the Creative Expressions French Collection Corner, Border, Petite Vinery and My Favorite Things Lily.
I cut a piece of 8 inch by 8 inch piece of white cardstock and scored in the center to create an 8 inch x four inch card. I cut two borders and attached them to the card base with rolled up 1/2" double stick tape
I cut the lilies out of white cardstock, colored them with magenta PanPastel using a mini applicator, formed them with my stylus and molding pad and attached together with glossy accents. I sprayed the flowers with Krylon Workable Fixatif to set the pastel so it wouldn’t rub off on the white cardstock. I cut the vines, formed lightly with the leaf tool and leaf padand attached them to the card base with glossy accents. I attached the three flowers with glossy accents and finished by adding pearls to each one.
Here’s a closer view of the flowers. I think they are so pretty against the white background and green foliage. The pearl adds another small touch of elegance.

Oh, my goodness….your card is out of this world beautiful. I just yesterday added the Creative Expressions dies you used to my wish list….so glad to see them used on a card. I like that the border die is 8″ long since I make a lot of 6×6 and 5×7 cards. You always WOW me….thanks for the inspiration.
