Anchors Away Sailing

Good Sunday morning.  My project this morning is another that I made for the Splitcoaststampers Beach House Inspiration Challenge.  When I saw this Anchor Pillow I remembered some Papertrey Nautical paper that I have had forever and hadn’t used in a while.  Here’s what I came up using the Impression Obsession Sailboats, Ocean Border and Mini Nautical Set. The frame was made using the Nesting Squares.

I cut the frame and attached the front ocean board section with double stick tape.  I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame, attached the second ocean border and then attached to the card base.  I love the two coordinating paper patterns.

I tucked the lighthouse and sailboats in behind the ocean border sections and attached with mounting tape.  The wheel, anchor, life preserver and rope were attached with glue dots. This was such a fast and easy card and would be perfect for anyone fond of sailing and boats.

Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

  2. Love the scene and those papers look so perfect. Such a peaceful scene, but I love the water, but sand, not so much, childhood bad experience I guess.

  5. You can’t get closer to the Beach House unless you actually go. Every color and detail is so authentic. TFS.
