Good Monday morning. I have a fall card to share with you today made using the Impression Obsession Leaves Set. and branches made using the Wide Tree. I colored the leaves using distress inks and mini applicators.
I cut the leaves using white cardstock. I applied the different colors of ink in patches using the mini applicators.
Once the leaf was totally covered with ink I went over the whole leaf using wild honey ink to smooth and blend out the edges of each color.
I applied versa to each leaf, applied clear embossing powder and heated.
I formed the leaves using my stylus and molding pad. I attached the two larger leaves to the center to the card base with glossy accents. I cut the branches apart and tucked them in under the larger leaves and attached with glossy accents. I filled in around the branches with the three smaller leaves and attached with glossy accents.
Originally I only had the orange and vanilla base layers but once I added the leaves it still looked too plain. I cut the thin frame and attached it with rolled up double stick tape. Both the orange base and frame were embossed with clear embossing powder to match the shine on the leaves.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week.
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”

Good Morning, Kittie, Fall is one of my favorite seasons.I love colors, and beauty of the trees and the multie colored leaves. This is gorgeous. I never thought about adding embossing to the frame an this is perfect. Good color choices. love it….have a good day….
could use some fall temperature today, going to be 100 today.
Kittie, a truly magnificent card. It certainly should never see the inside of a drawer or a box but should be framed in a very conspicuous place for as many as possible to see and admire (and learn from). Which reminds me, I TRIED to use your tip with rolled up glue dots, but alas, nearly had to call the men in white coats! Yes, it’s easy, when YOU do it! LOL Dear lady,I hope you know how talented you are and not just with glue dots.
Hugs Mary x

Kittie, this is such a simple, beautiful card. Love the way you used all these colors for the leaves. Edna
