Good Monday morning. I want to thank you all for your comments and suggestions regarding a replacement for the Ranger Crackle Paint. I had no idea there were so many other products and alternatives. I think I may try a few and come back with a review of how they compare to the Ranger product. I wish I knew of another product for you! I do know I am going to go back to the beginning and read to find out some ideas! Thank you for the opportunity to win as I am so addicted to flower cards!!! You have inspired me to go outside my flat cards and make some pretty awesome 3d flower cards! My husband loves that type of card so much now that when I make a flat card he wrinkles his nose and says "you've done better than that!" Lol

My project today is a clean and simple appreciation card made using the Taylored Expression Shade Tree Cutting Plate and Shade Tree Sentiments framed using the Impression Obsession Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames. I really like how the boldness of the framed tree is softened by the white against the pale blue background.
I started by cutting the tree frame down to fit behind the rectangle frame. I applied double stick tape to the back of the frame and attached it over the tree. I stamped the sentiment with versa and embossed with white embossing powder.

I applied mounting tape tape to the back of the frame and several spots on the tree trunk and leaves and attached it to the card base. It doesn’t get much faster than this. I think this would be the perfect appreciation card for almost any occasion.
Today will be my first day back to work after a three week medical leave. It will be hard getting myself back in the swing of things. LOL! I’d rather be playing with paper.

Lovely simple card today Kittie. I didnt realize you were recouping instead vice versa, thought you were working extra time in order to take off 3 weeks. Hope your all better now and Im sure getting back into the swing will be an adjustment, but take it slow. Glad you found out about some products to replace your Ranger crackle, hope that works for you.
