White Butterflies and Foliage

Good Tuesday morning.  My project today is a white on white with a soft blue background.  I started off in one direction to make the largest die from Memory Box Pinpoint Scalloped Circles to be the main focal point.  But I got carried away with the all white foliage and butterflies and almost covered it totally up.  You can some of the edges peeking through. I paired it with the Impression Obsession Medium Butterflies, Memory Box Botanical Stem and the We R Memory Keepers Flower Embossing Folder set

I embossed the blue background and attached it to the card base with mounting tape.  I like having that little bit of separation between the two background layers.  I think it adds interest. I applied the scalloped circle to the card base using mounting tape to create one more layer of dimension.

I cut several pieces of the stems, lightly formed the leaves with my stylus and molding pad and began designing the foliage spray.  I attached two of the stems whole, one towards the top left corner and one towards the right bottom corner.  I cut the rest of the stems apart and attached them around the center of the scalloped circle to fill in.  All pieces were attached using glossy accents. I made the soft blue multi loop bow to be the main focal point to tie the foliage spray together.

The three butterflies with pearls were added for the finishing touch.  I simply adore the softness of the Bazzill Icy Mint cardstock with the all white die cut images..

Thanks for coming by and I hope you enjoy your day.
