Good Wednesday morning. My project today was made using the Impression Obsession Gift Card Envelope. A gift card envelope is a fast and easy way to turn your Starbucks, American Express or department store card into a mini Christmas present rather than stuffing it in an envelope. I used some heavier weight designer papers that had pattern on both sides to create three different envelopes and dressed them up with a little ribbon, pine and holly.
I cut the envelope and folded along the side, center and top score lines and sharpened the folds with my bone folder. I applied double stick tape to the side flaps and folded the body up to secure to the sides to create the envelope.
I applied ribbon around the envelope, tied a multi loop bow and attached it to the top flap of the envelope with glue dots. I want the flap to remain free to open and close.
I tucked a few pieces of pine and holly around my bow and attached with glossy accents.
I inserted my gift card and then secure the flap shut with a mini 1/8” glue dot.
The three of these envelopes took me less than 15 minutes to make but I think they are so cute and festive.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day.
