Fun, Fast and Easy with Julie’s All Inside and Up the Happy

Good Sunday morning.  I had fun playing with Julie’s newly released All Inside and Up The Happy coordinating stamp and die sets.  Both of these cards were fast, easy, clean and simple.  I don't often use sentiments on my projects but both of these sets have sentiments that are perfect to be the main focal point and simply embellished with the die cut images. I used the same basic layout for both cards layering white on white that allows the colorful layer and die cut images to pop.  I am so in tune to making projects with lots of layers and tiny details so I had to keep reminding myself that less can be more.  LOL!

The sentiment on both cards were stamped on the scalloped with black versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder. The sun was stamped on yellow cardstock and embossed.

The white scalloped layers were attached to the colored layers with thin strips of mounting tape.

Both colored layers were then attached to the card base with thin strips of mounting tape.  I think the multi layers add dimension and interest to the simple cards.

I die cut the sun and balloons, applied Cosmic Shimmer glue with my fingers and applied crystal clear glitter and set aside for minute to dry.

I tied the metallic string around the bottom of the balloons.   The sun and balloons were attached to the sentiment layer with mounting tape. I tied a small bow around the balloon strings and secure them in place with a tiny glue dot.
