Good Thursday morning. My project today was made using the new Impression Obsession Strawberry Set paired with the All-in-One Frames Rectangles 2, Tiny Flowers and Tall Grass.
I wasn’t quite sure what I would do with this set when I first cut it out. When I need inspiration I Google for photos of the image or images I want to work with and I usually get lots of ideas. The two pictures below inspired my framed strawberry patch.
I cut several strawberries and caps and attached them together with glossy accents. The flowers were formed with my stylus and molding pad and were attached together with glossy accents. The leaves were gently molded with my ringers to turn up the edges for a more natural shape.
The frames were attached to the card base with thin strips of mounting tape. I started the arrangement by attaching a couple of the leaves to create the base for the strawberry arrangement. Next I lightly rounded the berries with my fingers and randomly attached them with mounting tape. The berries on the top of the pile were attached with double layers of mounting tape. The flowers were attached with glossy accents. I wanted to soften the arrangement a little so I added a few sprigs of grass and finished with a gingham multi loop bow.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you have a nice day.
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”
Really cute! I love that ribbon!
Like the idea of using the smaller flowers as centers for the larger ones. Never would have thought of doing this, as always thanks for the inspiration. Love your work.
