Good Monday morning. I have a fun “farm fresh” carton of strawberries to share with you today. The sentiment is from the new Impression Obsession Farm Fresh clear stamp set and the background was made using the Gingham Cover-a-Card. The carton of berries was made using the new Small Strawberries, Tomato Carton and the strawberry blossoms and stems were made using the Tiny Flowers and Leaves and Stems and tucked in behind the Small Grass Border. The frame was made using the All-in-One Frames Rectangles 2 and was layered using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables with the frame opening made using the Nesting Card Templates.
I started by placing my gingham stamp on my MISTI, applied the red ink and stamped my cardstock. And let me just say here that the MISTI makes getting perfect image coverage with the large cover-a-card stamps a breeze. Next I cut the scalloped layer, cut the frame opening in it with the nesting card template and attached it to the red frame with ATG adhesive. I’m not sure why I didn’t think to cut the opening so it would create a 1/8” mat on the inner frame opening. It would have added another pretty element. Oh well….next time. I attached the grass border to the back of the frame, applied thin strips to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base. The sentiment was stamped using black versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder. I attached the sentiment to the red layer with ATG adhesive and used my new Perfect Layers Tool and craft knife to cut the 1/16” border.
I cut and assembled several sets of berries and berry tops using glossy accents and attached them to the back of the carton using glossy accents. The carton was attached in behind the grass with mounting tape. I attached tiny flowers to several stems and tucked them in behind the grass along with several strawberries. The little yellow flower centers were 1/16” punched circles and attached with glossy accents. The sentiment was attached to the card base with mounting tape.
Here’s a closer view of the strawberries. I love that the berries looks so real with the embossed seed pattern.
Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have a great week.

Vickie, I am very impressed with the MISTI. It is perfect for large stamps and for perfect placement. I also purchased the mini MISTI for smaller images.
