My project today was made using the Impression Obsession Hollyhocks Stamp, Hollyhocks Die. Grass Border, Small Grass Border, Foliage, Picket Fence, Butterfly Set and the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables.
I started by apply red and green ink to the hollyhocks stamp using markers, lightly misting with water and then stamping on the smallest scalloped layer. I attached a grass border section to the scalloped layer to fill in behind the picket fence. I cut the small grass border and then cut again using the scalloped die to make the grass match up with the scalloped layer. Wow! I hope that made sense. I attached the small grass border to the front of the fence with double stick tape and then attached the fence to the scalloped layer using mounting tape.
I cut the hollyhocks and attached them in behind the fence with glossy accents. I added a few tiny pieces of mounting tape to some of the upper flower sections to hold them in place. I cut a few sections of foliage apart and tucked them in behind the fence and in the grass on the front to the fence. I finished by adding the tiny red butterflies. This will be a fun card to send to my mother-in-law. My husband send her one of my cards every week and she loves them.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great day.
