KC IMpression Obsession Hello 2 right

My project was made using the StencilGirl Layered Peonies stencil and Impression Obsession Hello sentiment and Small Leaf Set.

Layered Peonies

I had lots of fun playing with foliage image on the stencil.  I used a sponge dauber to apply Peeled Paint ink to the stencil. I moved the stencil around to cover the cardstock with a leaf pattern in darker and lighter shades of green. I applied mounting tape to the back of the leaf layer and attached it to the card base.

I cut the Hello sentiment once with green cardstock and once with craft-a-board. I used Cosmic Glitter Glue to attach the two pieces together sentiments together and then attached the sentiment to the cream cardstock.  I added one leaf to the sentiment layer for the finishing touch.  Although I didn’t use it on my project today Impression Obsession has a coordinating  Hello Stamp Set.

  2. I like how you moved the stencil to get a layered look, love the green color, too. Using the bigger dauber looks like a great idea for a project like this. Thank you for the idea!

  5. Kitty, this is beautiful! I love how you used the leaves from the stencil and achieved so many different shades of green from one ink pad. The sentiment with the cut out leaf is perfect with the card! Thanks for sharing! bbaxterj (at) frontiernet (dot net)
