Impression Obsession “I Adore You” Valentine Card

Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “I Adore You” design team Valentine challenge.  The new line of Valentine stamps and dies are so pretty.  I love the Heart Flourish framing the Hinged Heart die cut window with the small image from the String of Hearts set on the front and the larger heart and flower image inside the window.

Making a Handmade Die Cut Flourish Heart Valentine Card is so fun and easyI secured the stamps and white cardstock in my MISTI and stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I cut the images out and colored them using Memento markers.  I used the Hinged Heart die to cut the window opening on the white layer and cut a second Hinged Heart in red.  I used my craft knife to cut the front flap of the red heart off and attached it over the white using glossy accents.

It's so fun to make a Handmade Die Cut Flourish Heart Valentine Card

I placed a long section of 1/2″ double stick tape onto my table and rolled it up with my fingers to create an adhesive rope to attach the Flourish Heart to the card base.  I tucked the larger heart image inside the heart window and attached with glue dots.  I finished the card by adding white Nuvo crystal drops to the flower centers and around the board of the red heart.
