Rubbernecker Handmade Die Cut Paper Flowers

I have a colorful handmade die cut paper flowers project to share with you today using some brand new Rubbernecker flower, foliage and frame dies.  I used the 5109D Mixable Flower Stack, Small Leaf Group, Nested Circle Scallop w/ Holes and Circle Stitch One Piece Combined Die. One of my favorite things about these new dies is that the flower and foliage are a solid piece die that contains all the image cuts and don’t have to be cut apart.  The frame dies all come pre cut and are on magnetic sheets. 

I started by cutting several sets of the flowers using Bazzill Sour Lemon cardstock and lightly applying Worn Lipstick ink on the petals using a mini applicator.  I used my stylus from the Garden Tool Kit and molding pad to form the flower petals and attached them together using glossy accents. I added tiny preformed Red Berry Nuvo Crystal Drops to each flower center and secured in place with glossy accents.  The foliage was cut using Old Olive cardstock gently formed using the stylus and molding.

I attached the Candy Hearts pink layer, white scalloped layer and pink circle frame to the card base using mounting tape.   Building dimension with the layers creates an added element of interest.  I attached two larger sections of foliage and larger flower to the center of the white frame layer using glossy accents.  I attached two smaller flowers to the foliage with glossy accents.  I finished by tucking two smaller sections of foliage under the flower and attached with glossy accents.

I had a difficult time getting the true color of my cardstock and flowers photographed for this project.  The colors are really so much pretty in person.  Thanks for coming by today and I hope you are inspired to check out the whole new January 2018 die release at Rubbernecker.  I had so much fun making my handmade die cut paper flowers and Rubbernecker has several new flower sets and I can’t wait to play with them all.
