Die Cut Flower and Butterfly

I love making cards with a die cut flower and butterfly together and using my favorite spring and summer color combination of purple, green and white.  Adding a frame and decorative background makes it even prettier and more interesting. My project today was made using the Rubbernecker 5102D 2 Part Butterfly #3, 5100-01D Small Flower Die, 5100D Small Leaf Group, 5026D Circle Lattice Die, 5122D Rectangle Stitch One Piece Die and 5013D Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die.  You can also find the flower and leaves in the Kittie Kraft Basics Bundle.

The flower sections were cut and formed using my Garden Tool Kit stylus and molding pad and attached together using glossy accents.  The two butterfly sections were attached together in the center using glossy accents. The leaves were gently formed using the stylus and molding pad.  The two frame sections were attached together on the back using double stick tape and then I attached the circle lattice piece directly to the back of the frame.

I attached strips of mounting tape to the back of the stitched rectangle and the lattice frame and attached them both to the card base.  The flowers, leaves and butterfly were attached to the frame using glossy accents.  I added white snow pearls to the to the flower center and butterfly for the finishing touch.  I love the the frame and rectangle background have matching stitches.
