Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Pick a Holiday…Any Holiday” design team challenge. My project today was made using the new Bunny Frame die. Oh my goodness. I had so much fun making this die cut Easter bunny card.
I placed the bunny and flower scene portion of the die set on my magnetic platform and then placed the outer frame die around it. You could choose to leave the outer frame off and cut the scene out of a full piece of cardstock. I cut the full bunny frame out once using white cardstock and then used smaller pieces of cardstock to cut extra pieces of flowers, foliage and a butterfly. I left the bunny and frame white and used markers to color all the the images.
The scalloped layer was attached to the card base using mounting tape. I placed small pieces of mounting tape around the back edges of the bunny frame and a few key spots behind the bunny and flowers and attached it to the scalloped layer. I lightly formed the extra butterfly, flowers and foliage and attached them over the base image using glossy accents. I finished by adding small pre made drops of yellow Nuvo Crystal drops to the flower centers and white to the butterfly and attached with glossy accents.
To enter the challenge and see a complete list of our team payers go to the Impression Obsession Blog. You’ll see all the details there! A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog. Why don’t you come along and make your own clean and simple card. I hope you have been inspired to get out your toys to make your own die cut Easter bunny card.
