I have a die cut Easter Bunnies, Ducks and Birds card to share with you today. I love how fresh the yellow and aqua color combination is and how it allows all the images in the scene to pop. All the pieces on my card were made using Rubbernecker dies. The yellow layer was made using the 5023D Nested Rectangle w/Pierce Die and the oval frame was made using the 5024D Nested Oval w/Pierce Die and 5004D Nested Oval Die. The foliage for the scene was made using the 5126D Tree Panel # 1 Die and the flowers were made using the 5114D Mini Flower Stack Die. The critters were made using the 5142-01D Bunnies Die, 5142-02 Ducks Die and 5142-05D Birds Die.
The first thing I did was cut the rectangle layer with the oval opening and attached it to the card base using mounting tape. I cut the oval frame and attached two hand cut grass layers to the back of it using double stick tape. The frame was attached over the yellow layer using mounting tape. The tree panel was cut out a couple of times and cut apart into smaller sections. The bunnies were cut using white cardstock and were colored using Antique Linen and Vintage Photo inks and mini applicators. The ducks were cut using yellow card stock and were colored using Wild Honey ink and a mini applicator. I cut the flowers and birds using the aqua cardstock to match the frame. You can check out my Coloring Die Cut Animals step by step tutorial if you would like to see how I colored my bunnies and ducks .
I could have used the whole tree panel in the back ground of my scene but I wanted to create a smaller scene with the animals. I thought it would look pretty to have the vines tucked in around them. I formed the flowers using my Garden Tool Kit stylus and molding pad and attached them to the vines using glossy accents. Then I tucked the vines in behind the frame and grass layers and attached with glossy accents. The bunnies, ducks and birds were attached to the scene base and frame using mounting tape. I attached small pre made white Nuvo Crystal drops to the flower centers using drops of glossy accents. I added tiny flowers and leaves to the necks of one duck and bunny for the finishing touch.
Thank you so much for coming by. I had lots of fun making this project and I hope you have been inspired to create your own die cut Easter bunnies, ducks and bird card.
