I have a bright green and orange die cut flowers and wildflowers card to share with you today. I used the Rubbernecker 5144-02D Nested Oval X Stitch Die, 5144-03D Nested Rectangle X Stitch Die and 5004D Nested Oval Die to create the frame layer. I used the 830 Wildflowers in the Wind Stamp Set to create the flower scene and 5112D Mixable Flower Stack and 5110D Small Leaf Group. The sentiment was made using the 3032 Best Friends set.
Die Cut Flowers and Wildflowers
The die cut flowers were formed using my stylus and molding pad. The leaves on the foliage stems were gently bent with my fingers.
I secured the oval white cardstock in my MISTI and stamped the four different floral images using Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey Distress Inks. The beauty of using the MISTI is that you can stamp each image multiple times to create a great crisp image. I stamped the sentiment using Black Versafine.
Cutting and Assembling the Frame
I cut the white Oval X Stitch layer and then cut the frame out using an oval die. Attach the X Stitch frame to the oval flower scene using pieces of mounting tape. Attach the framed flower layer to the orange X Stitch layer using strips of mounting tape and then attach both layers to the green card base.
Attaching the Flowers and Leaves
I attached the leaves and flowers were attached to the frame using glossy accents. I finished the large flower by attached a large pre made black Nuvo Crystal Drop in the center with glossy accents. I applied a few smaller black drops around the flower scene using glossy accents for the finishing touch.
I appreciate you coming by today. I hope you have been inspired to get out your stamps and dies to create own die cut flowers and wildflowers project.
