Have you checked out all wonderful girl silhouette die cuts and stamped images carried by Impression Obsession? I should say that there are also wonderful boy silhouettes as well as groups of children playing together. I especially love the Girl with Watering Can die and thought she would be perfect cut in all white in a simple framed garden scene with lots of colorful flowers and butterflies.
The Framed Scene
I cut the frames and grass sections and attached them together using double stick tape. I attached both frames to the card base using strips of mounting tape. I formed the tiny flowers using my stylus and molding pad and attached the flowers to the taller grass border using glossy accents.
Girl Silhouette Die Cuts and Butterflies
I cut the girl silhouette in all white and tucked her in behind the grass and flower borders and attached with mounting tape. I couldn’t resist adding a few tiny flowers to the ponytail and butterflies to the scene to finish.
I really love creating outdoor scenes and the girl silhouette die cuts by Impression Obsession provide so many interesting opportunities. I think the next time I use this die I will try to color her but I’m not going to hold my breath that it will be a success. LOL!
