I have a clean and simple die cut banner, sentiment and flowers project to share with you today. I love that the stitching on the banner and rectangle background layer match. I used the Rubbernecker Stamps 5151D Nested Banner Stitch, 5013D Nested Rectangle Small Stitch, 5118D Leaf Group, 5114D Mini Flower Stack and 582-23 Imagine With All. You can also see the flowers and foliage in the Kittie Kraft Basics Bundle.
The Banner and Sentiment
I cut two banner sections. I secured the white banner and sentiment stamp in my MISTI, applied versa to the stamp and stamped the image. I applied gold super fine embossing powder to the sentiment and heated with my heat gun.
The Flowers and Foliage
I cut the mini flowers and foliage. I formed the flowers using my small tipped stylus and molding pad and I gently formed the foliage using my fingers.
Assembling the Die Cut Banner, Sentiment and Flowers
I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the white rectangle layer and attached it to the card base. I attached the white sentiment banner to the the blue banner using double stick tape and then attached both banner layers to the white rectangle using strips of mounting tape. I attached the small branches of foliage and flowers to the banner using glossy accents. I attached pre made gold Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flower centers with glossy accents for the finishing touch. Checkout my Flower Spray Tutorial if you would like to see a few step by step pictures of how I arrange my flowers and foliage.
Thank you for coming by today. I hope you have enjoyed seeing my die cut banner, sentiment and flowers card.
