Die Cut Floral Arrangement

Good Sunday morning.  I had the Sour Grape and Easter Grass cardstock on my desk from my project yesterday so I decided to make another quick and easy die cut floral arrangement with it using the new Rubbernecker 5175-02D Flower #2 paired with the 5013D Nested Rectangle Small Stitch set and 5028D Nested Rectangle Scallop set.  I have really been enjoying using spring and summer flower colors after making so many Christmas projects using red and green.

The Scalloped Layers

• Cut the large scalloped layer using white cardstock and small scalloped layer using purple cardstock.
• Cut the stitched layer using white cardstock.
• Attach the large layer to the card base using strips of mounting tape.
• Attach the white stitched layer to the purple scalloped layer using double stick tape and attach it to the white layer using double stick tape.

The Flowers and Stems

• Cut the flower stem out twice using green cardstock.
• Cut the flower portion of the die out three times using purple cardstock.
• Trim the stem sections off the purple flowers and trim the petals off the green flower stems.
• Attach the purple flowers over the green flower stems using glossy accents.
• Apply sparkle to the flower heads using a Spectrum Noir clear overlay pen.

Assemble the Flowers Stems

• Apply small pieces of mounting tape to the back of the flower heads.
• Apply glossy accents to the two completed flower stems and attach to the white layer.
• Attach two of the individual flower heads to the white layer to complete the arrangement.
• Finish by attaching a white multi loop bow.
