Today I’m sharing a pretty Adirondack chair and flowers card with a pretty tree and soft blue sky. I used the Rubbernecker Beach Chairs, Grass Set, Leaf Group, Flower Stems, Tiny Flower Buds and Small Butterflies and the background scene was created using the tree from the Fall Foliage set and the mini fern stamp from the Outdoor Master.
The Tree and Sky
- Stamp the tree trunk using Antique linen ink.
- Use Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint and Squeezed Lemonade ink to stamp the leaves of the tree.
- Fill in the tree trunk and branches using Vintage Photo ink and a blending pen.
- Heat set the ink of the tree using a heat gun or allow to dry before apply blue sky.
- Apply Tumbled Glass ink to the sky area around the tree using an ink blending tool.
The Adirondack Chair and Flowers
- Cut the grass layers and attach to the base of the card using double stick tape.
- Cut the leaf group and flower stems using green cardstock.
- Tuck the small branches in behind the grass and attach with glossy accents.
- Cut the tiny flowers and butterflies using bright pink cardstock.
- Form the flowers using a small tipped stylus and molding pad and attach to to the branches and flower stem using glossy accents.
- Attach the flower stem in the chair using glossy accents.
- Apply pieces of mounting tape to the back of the chair and attach it to the grass.
- Finish by attaching the butterflies to the card base using glossy accents.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my Adirondack chair and flowers card. I thought it looked cool and inviting and I wish I could sit there. It was 97 degrees here in Orlando yesterday. I appreciate you stopping by and I hope you have a great day.
