More 3D Flower Making with Paper – So Addictive!

So I loved these projects so much I just HAD to do some more 3D flower making with paper. This time I used another fabulous new die set from Rubbernecker – the Organic Shapable Poppy and paired it with the foliage from the Organic Shapable Daisy and Circle Square. I am LOVING these die sets!

I can't stop my roll of 3D flower making with paper - click through to see this beauty up close!

The Circle Square Card Base

  • Cut the card base using white cardstock and the Nested Rectangle Small Stitch die and then cut again using the Circle Square die.
  • Cut a strip of cardstock, line it up with the Nested Rectangle die and run through the machine.
  • Stamp the sentiment on the strip using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and set aside.
  • Apply strips of mounting tape to the back of the card base and attach it to the card base.

I actually didn't think this level of 3D flower making with paper was this easy - click through to see how I did it!

The Flower and Foliage

  • Cut two flower sections using light purple, dark purple and green cardstock.
  • Use green cardstock to cut two sections of the foliage.
  • Place the flowers face down on the molding pad and form the petals using the large round stylus.
  • Turn the flowers face up on the molding pad and push down in the center using a stylus to pull the petals up.
  • Attach the two flowers sections together using glossy accents.
  • Form the flower centers using a stylus and molding pad and attach them together using glossy accents.
  • Tuck the purple and green flower centers in the middle of the flower and attach using glossy accents.

Finish the Card

  • Attach the flower to the top of the card base using glossy accents.
  • Form the foliage leaves using the leaf tool and molding pad.
  • Tuck the foliage under the flower and attach to the card base using glossy accents.
  • Finish by attaching the sentiment strip to the card base using pieces of mounting tape.
