New Rubbernecker Color Fuse Inks and Layered Stamping

Rubbernecker is thrilled to announce Color Fuse, a brand new progressive line of ink with graduated color groupings designed to work together. Rubbernecker is releasing the first four of the twelve color sets in the line – Yellow, Pink, Blue and Green. These inks works well for all your water-based art projects and was created especially for layered stamping, utilizing a progressive color value in each hue.  Rubbernecker has created a new line of floral layered stamp sets that work perfectly with the new inks and I know you will want to check them out.

3309 It's Spring time

For my project today I used the new It’s Spring Time layered stamp set.

Check out how I made this lovely floral project made using the newRubbernecker Color Fuse inks.

The Layered Flowers and Foliage

  • Secure a piece of white cardstock in the MISTI.
  • Place the first layering stamp in place, apply the lightest color ink to the stamp and stamp it on the cardstock.
  • Continue layering the flower by using the next three stamps and graduated ink colors. Note:  I found this to be an easy process using the directions that are provided in the stamp set packing.

3309 It's Spring time

  • I stamped the flowers three times, two large and one small.
  • I fussy cut two of the flowers and foliage so I could layer them on the card base to add dimension.

The Frame Layer

  • Use the Nested Scallop Rectangle set to cut the bright pink layer.
  • Stamp the sentiment on the flower layer using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
  • Apply strips of mounting tape to the back of the flower layer and attach it to the scalloped layer.
  • Apply ATG adhesive to the back of the scalloped layer and attach it to the card base.
  • Apply pieces of mounting tape to the back of the fussy cut flowers and attach them to the card base.
  • Tuck the foliage pieces under the flowers and attach with glossy accents.

Check out how I made this beautiful floral project made using the newRubbernecker Color Fuse inks.

Boy did I have fun playing with the new Color Fuse inks and layering stamps.  I hope you will hop over to check the whole release.  Thank you for coming by today and I hope you are having a good week.

  1. I have always loved the look of layering stamps, but I have such a hard time layering them up. Yours are just gorgeous!
