Is this NOT the perfect sentiment for your handmade spring cards?

I love when I find a stamp that I can use for cards sent for all kinds of reasons and I have to say that this is one of the best spring sayings for cards. It can be used on a card of comfort, one to encourage, a “just because” card, a celebration…….. And I just love that easy to read but still pretty font! When I came up with my Kittie Says stamps, I try to make as many of them be multi purpose and this one certainly fits that.

To make this beautiful spring card I used the Rectangle Combo OPC #4, Floral Frame, 5109D Mixable Flower Stack, Flower Buds and the sentiment is from the Kittie Says Spring Time clear set.

Large and Small Flowers

Use pink, yellow and purple cardstock to cut the three flower sets from the Mixable Flower Stack.
Use the same three colors to cut a few of the Flower Buds.
Place the flower sections of each color face down on the molding pad and roll a large round stylus over each petal to form them.
Turn the flower sections face up on the molding pad and push down in the center of each to push the petals up.
Attach each flower section together using glossy accents. Pro Tip: Make sure to offset each flower layer to create a more natural looking flower.
Place the flower buds face up on the molding pad and push down in the flower centers with a small tipped stylus.

Card Base, Sentiment and Floral Frame

Cut an A2 sized card base using white cardstock.
Secure the card base and Kittie Says Spring Time stamp in the MISTI. Pro Tip: I laid the floral frame die over the card base, lined it up and centered the sentiment stamp where I wanted to stamp and pulled down the Misti lid to attach the stamp.
Apply Versafine Clair Shady Lane ink to the stamp and stamp the sentiment.
Use white cardstock to cut the scalloped layer from the Rectangle Combo OPC #4 set.
Cut the Floral Frame using green cardstock.

Finish the Card

Apply double stick tape to the back of the scalloped frame.
Trim off the borders of the floral frame to make it fit behind the scalloped frame and attach it to the double tick tape.
Attach the large and tiny flowers to the floral frame using glossy accents.
Insert tiny white circles to the centers of the flowers and attach using glossy accents. Pro Tip: I keep the tiny negative circles left when cutting eyelet dies to use for my flower centers, snowflakes, etc.
Apply strips of mounting tape all the way around the back of the frame layers.
Apply tiny pop dots to the back of the flowers to hold them away from the card base. Pro Tip: The tiny pop dots behind the flowers will keep the floral frame from collapsing down on the card base.
Remove the paper backings, line up the frame and flowers over the card base and attach.
