Get ready – it’s time for the Rubbernecker March 2023 Release!
Oh my GOSH – there are SO many gorgeous things in the Rubbernecker March 2023 release and I am beyond excited to share just a few of them with you. You can head over to the Rubbernecker blog to see all the goodies; there are stencils and stamps and dies and new paper and it’s all just so fabulous!
I was lucky enough, as a designer, to get my crafty paws on some of the dies and the new Paper Pad and got to make some projects to share with you so you can see these new items in action. I will be turning each of these projects into their own post so you can get all the juicy details so stay tuned!
For this first project – and as much as it is technically a “card” it’s VERY dimensional – I used the brand new Decorative Rectangle die set along with Rubbernecker’s Large Ivy, Stackable Flowers and Leaves #4, Stackable Flowers and Leaves #1, Stackable Flowers and Leaves #3, Mixable Flower Stack 5107D, Mixable Flower Stack 5109D, Gentian and Stems, Buchnera and Stems.
Don’t worry – I will be sharing all the tricks and tips to turn those flat little paper flower die cuts into these blooming beauties soon!
Here is a photo of that STUNNING two piece die set – I will be using this a LOT!
I used three new dies on this card – the Nested Rectangle with Square Holes, Small Flowers #5, and Flower Bouquet Wrap – along with the Branches and Leaves die set and the Kittie Says Friends stamp set I helped design. Watch for this sweet little bouquet holder to pop up – it’s such a cute way to “hand” someone a bouquet of your paper flower creations! And think of bridal and shower cards – how many different ways can we use this with patterned and textured papers? SO fun and like nothing else out there.
Now for another absolutely gorgeous die cut frame, I used the new Decorative Floral Circle die set along with one of the patterns in the new Welcome Spring 6×6 Paper Pad, some basic circle dies and another phrase from the Kittie Says Friends stamp set to put this card together so quickly!
You can make a card in no time with this set, some plain card stock and those gorgeous patterns in the new Paper Pad! Take a look!
They are all just SO beautiful! Here’s a shot of this frame set – are those details not SO perfect?
Remember I said I would be using that Decorative Rectangle set a lot? Well, it is the perfect thing to set off this vignette made with the new Wine Glass and Bottle die set with a little sentiment from the Birthday Celebration set. Are those little details on the label not the cutest?
And last, here’s a fun twist on a card design I’ve shared many times before. Placing those tiny pots full of bitty flowers into the new Slimline Filmstrip, die add a playful twist on a basic motif. If you are a scrapbooker you KNOW you will want this – picture all those tiny school pictures lined up in this! Or the little Instax style photos everyone loves to collect! And on cards, you can pop any small element in there and take it from cute to CUTE! I used the Wide Terracotta Pots, Tiny Flowers #2, Small Flowers #5, Small Flowers #4, Branches and Leaves for all the other details.
Here are the new things I used today. Remember, you can go here to the Rubbernecker blog to see more or go right here to the store to start filling your basket!
