To create this spring flowers bouquet I used products from the new Garden Party release by Brass and Bliss. I combined the Spring Florals along with the new Foliage Trio dies, creating this gorgeous bouquet with a very fun modern look. I added a sentiment from the new Always Peony set onto a die cut using their new Nested Tag set and set it into a frame made with their Decorative Rectangle #2.
Background, Frame and Sentiment
- Use white cardstock to cut an A2 sized card base, the Decorative Rectangle #2 and the Nested Tag.
- Apply strips of mounting tape all around the frame of the decorative frame and attach it to the card base.
- Secure the tag and sentiment in the MISTI and stamp using Nocturne ink. Set tag aside.
The Spring Flowers Bouquet
- Use white cardstock to cut out all the Spring Florals and Foliage Trio stems.
- Use mini applicators to apply the Color Fuse inks to the flowers and stems. I used Color Fuse Sets 1, 5, 6, and 11.
- Assemble the stems and attach them together using glossy accents. Check out my Paper Flower Bouquet video to see how I assembled the bouquet. The video shows different flowers and foliage stems but the concept is the same.
- Apply a generous amount of glossy accents to the back of the bouquet and attach it to the card base.
- Apply a pieces of mounting tape to the back side of the tag and attach it to the card base.
Here are the Brass and Bliss products used to make this card – be sure to check out all the New Release Goodies on my release blog post too since there are lots of beautiful organic designs in this Garden Party collection.
