Come see how a soft blue stenciled waves creates the perfect background for a beach themed card.

Today I’m sharing this fun beach themed card with a pretty soft blue stenciled background. It is perfect to highlight all the die cut elements. I used the Brass and Bliss Crashing Waves Cover for the stencil, Beach Chairs, Beach Umbrella, Palm Trees, Beach Bag, Tiny Flowers #2, Grass #2 and Deckle Hills.

Secure the die cut waves layer over a piece of white cardstock and apply Beachside ink using a blending brush.
Cut the layer to 4.00″ x 5.25″ and attach it to the red card base using double stick tape or Nuvo glue.
Cut the deckle hills layer using craft cardstock and apply light brown ink using a blender brush.
Attach the sand layer to the card base using a strip of mounting tape.

Die cut all the elements.
Attach the palm trees to the and assemble and attach them to the card base using pieces of mounting tape.
Adhere tiny pieces of mounting tape to the back of the beach chair, tuck it in behind the sand layer and attach to stenciled waves card base.
Attach the hat, beach bag and flip flops to the scene using pieces of mounting tap.
Finish by tucking a few grass sprigs behind the sand layer abd attach using Nuvo glue.
