Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession Design Team challenge. My project today was made using the Love Birds set, Sun and Moon set, Cloud Set, Tiny Flowers and Square Shaker Frames.
The Love Birds are so sweet and are such a happy couple. I knew they would be perfect for today’s “you are my sunshine” theme and I created them in yellow to match the sun so the three images would be the main focal point of my scene. I think it worked.
I started by popping up the background layer on the card base with mounting tape to add dimension and interest to the all white background. The popped up frame adds color and another level of dimension to showcase the images.
I cut out all the images to prepare to create the scene. I cut the bird die in green and then cut the birds again in yellow, cut them off and attached them over the green. I formed several of the tiny flowers with my stylus and molding pad and attached them to the branches and leaves. I couldn’t resist adding a little flower design to the lady birdie. I created the tiny flowers using my 1/8” circle punch and created the tiny leaves from the negative pieces left over from the green cut out leaves.
I placed the clouds in the sky area with mounting tape and popped the sun up on the frame with rolled up glue dots. I applied tiny strips of mounting tape to the back of the limbs and larger pieces to the birds and attached the piece into the scene.
Here’s a closer view of the scene.
Even though is a lot going on with the images I still think this is fairly clean and simple with the all white background. I love all the bright and happy colors. Have you seen the new Bazzill line of cardstock at Ellen’s.

Good Afternoon, Kittie I am late today. I really like the bright sunshine, and those lovely little birds. It’s like a 3d frame….hope you are having a good day….LOL
Adorable card! I just love how you have combined all the dies and added the beautiful tiny flowers. 🙂
Lovely spring card…I can almost hear birdsong. Amazing details as usual. Hugs, Kathy
Lovely bright and cheerful card. I love the itty bitty flowers on the lady birdie, so very cute. The frame is going on my list, how big is the opening inside the frame Kittie? The birds in this scene are singing so happily, “It’s spring, it’s spring”! This evening I went out for a roll in my wheelchair and the birds were singing happily, it’s so wonderful to hear the birds again, and to be able to go outside. Thank you for sharing this creatively inspiring, lovely card.

Jacquelene, The inside opening of the frame is about 2.75″ square.
I don’t have any idea how you get so many beautiful cards done everyday. Each one is beautiful. I love your style.

Another gorgeous result! This one reminds me so much of Easter and Spring and I want to be in the scene with all these beautiful elements. As always TFS.
