My first project today was made using the daffodil and sentiment from When Spring Came

I stamped the sentiment on cream cardstock with black versafine and embossed with black embossing powder.  I applied ink to the stamp using distress markers stamped the daffodil image on watercolor paper.  I used my waterbrush to pull color from the lines of the daffodil and then filled in with reinker.

I attached the sentiment layer to the back of the double mounted frame, applied mounting tape to the back and attached to the card base.  I cut the flower out and popped up on the frame with a small piece of mounting tape.  I colored a piece of white silk ribbon with a Copic Marker  to create the small bow for the finishing touch.

My second project was made using the Farm Fresh Apron, Farm Fresh Border, What’s Cooking? sentiment and a couple leaves from the Leaves and Stems set and the small scalloped border from the Border Duo 2 set.

I stamped the apron twice on designer paper with black versafine ink and embossed with black embossing powder.  I cut the sash, pocket, chicken and trim off of one apron and paper pieced them on the second apron with thin strips of 1/4” double stick tape to add a little dimension. I stamped the chicken border with black versafine and embossed with black embossing powder.

I layered the chicken border on a piece of black cardstock and attached to the sentiment card base.  I popped the apron up with mounting tape and finished by tucking a couple stems in the pocket for fun.
