I always enjoy the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers each Sunday and always try to make time to play. Our featured artist this week is Stampinat6213 or aka Nancy Riley. Click here to see Nancy’s card that I decided to CASE (copy and share with everyone).
I changed the colors and went with a Rubbernecker chick image from the baby collection. What a cutie chick it is, too. I decided to make a little chick couple out in the yard with a chicken coop in the background. The boy chick is bringing his sweetheart some flowers. She looks happy doesn’t she? This is a simple little scene with a sketched chicken coop, fence and some watercoloring. Fun little scene with Valentine’s approaching.
Stamps: Rubbernecker-Stuffed Chick, Chickenwire
Paper: Olive, White, Watercolor
Ink: Adirondack and Distress Inks
Accessories: Gingham, Artist Pen, Blender Pen (to make dots), Watercolor Brushes, Sponges
If you would like some Rubbernecker Blog Candy hop on over to Jeanne S’ Inky Paws blog and leave a post to qualify. Rubbernecker has some other interesting news coming soon as well.

Oh, I love your little chicks! They are adorable! The background is great, with the fence and pasture…love the dots on the strip, too! A great card! (as always!) 😀

When I was a little girl I had a pet hen. She went everywhere with me. I think she thought I was her mom. Those are great memories. When I saw these chicks it reminded me of her. Love the background.
Great Job.
