The Limited Supply Challenge on Splitcoaststampers today was to focus on background stamps and to use no designer paper. I remember a while back when I thought it was sort of a cheat to use designer paper instead of creating a great background for your card with stamps. Paper has become so popular and there are such a variety of choices I soon found myself using it regularly. I enjoyed this challenge today as I always enjoy using little farm animals and there is no better farm background stamp than Chicken Wire. I used my Rubbernecker Chicken Wire as the wire is a little smaller and I think it is much more decorative for smaller images. This is my first chance to use my new My Favorite Things Punny Farm and the images are darling. I loved making the chickens all red with white polka-dots on their wings as they are so fun and rediculous. I wanted the card to be mostly about the background so didn’t really create a large scene. I’m sure I will be doing lots more farm scene cards with this set as the animals and sentiments are wonderful.

So stinkin’ cute Kittie! You are like the litmus test for an animal set, if you like it, we’ve done alright!
Kittie, your scenes are so cute. I love these images too.
My goodness…that is adorable! I so appreciate your sharing your talent!
This is just as cute as can be. I ordered this background stamp a couple weeks ago, and it finally arrived. Can’t wait to use it. I like the out of the box chicken and the gingham ribbon is just perfect. TFS
I need to get out my Best of Cluck set again………….and my chicken wire……this is wonderful!
