Bright Colors That Cheer

The Inspiration Challenge today on Splitcoaststampers had a brightly colored scene for inspiration.

I was inspired by the green fridge, yellow lemons, the magenta colored flowers and the aqua wall.  The colors screamed out Easter to me.

I stamped the bunny on scrap watercolor paper with black brilliance graphite ink, watercolored with Adirondack reinkers and cut it out.  I sketched in grassy areas, drew in eggs and colored them.  I sponged Lettus Adirondack ink on the ground area and filled in texture with my fern stamp.  I added flowers along the grass border and drew sprigs and flower stems with a Staedtler Triplus fineliner.  I cut a few larger eggs with the smallest Nestabilities oval.  I added sparkle to the jacket, eggs, jacket and flowers with Copic Spica sparkle markers.  This was fun to do.
