Splitcoaststampers Cupcake Party -CHA Night 1

After several months of planning and looking forward to coming to CHA, I am finally here.  I had a long flight from Florida to California but it was well worth it.  I met up with Sherry in Phoenix and flew on in to California where we met Jeanne and was picked up by our fearless leaders, Pat and Dave Miller, the owners of Rubbernecker Stamp Company. Tosh was waiting for us at our hotel and our design team tribe attending the convention was complete. I felt like I had known Pat my whole life after being with her for five minutes.  She is so warm and perfectly completes our group of girls to gang up on Dave. Dave is a strong and patient man and I’m sure he has absolutely no idea what is in store for him this week.

Daven, the owner of Splitcoaststampers, and Jenn and Lori hosted a fun Cupcake reception last night and what a fun time we had.  There is nothing quite as fun and interesting as finally putting a face and the sound of someone’s voice together with the person that you have come to know so well on line. We squeeled with delight and hugged like long lost friends each time we met someone else.  You would have thought it was an alumni reunion for classmates that hadn’t seen each other for twenty years. Here are a few highlights from the evening.

  1. I truly envy all of you girls (and guys). What fun to be together, looking at stuff we all love. Thank you for the photos, Kittie. We can do CHA vicariously through you!
