Walking The Convention Floor

Walking the floor of the Craft and Hobby Association Convention is an overwhelming experience.  First of all the exhibit floors are huge and second they are filled with every crafting product known to man.  It is like a "big girl toy land" and everywhere I looked my eyes were feasting on products that I can hardly wait to get my hands on. My jaw was constantly dropping and I had to keep reminding myself to close my mouth.

I was so excited that I forgot to take pictures of so many displays.  It’s so sad to be so old and forgetful….but I was so excited. I failed to get pictures of the Spellbinders’ gorgeous booth, which was one of the loveliest exhibits in the show.  Stacey, the owner,  was so so gracious and spent time introducing us to her new products.  Girls…..you are going to die when you see what she has in store for us.  Nestabilities are so poplar and believe me…you are going to love the new die sets and individual dies and you’re going to want them all.

I finally remembered to get my camera out when we got to the Lizzie Anne booth.  Tricia and Meridith are so adorable and I couldn’t resist asking them to pose for me.  I am so impressed with the wonderful business these two young women have built.

When we first got to the booth Daven, owner of Splitcoaststampers was there talking to Meridith and Tricia.  I knew you would love seeing the guy who makes SCS "happen" for us every day.

One of the most exciting things for me was to go to the A Muse booth and to meet JulieHRR.  Jeanne , Sherry, Tosh, Linda and I walked up to booth and surprised Julie.  What a thrill for us to finally meet the "mighty" but tiny Julie.  Jami was at the booth at the same time and we took the opportunity to have our picture made together.  Seven Dirty Dozen girls in one spot at a time is fun, fun, fun!

What’s new at Ranger?  I have become so fond of the Ranger Adirondack Dye and Distress inks and reinkers. It was so exciting to go to the huge Ranger exhibit and find  out they are coming out with 12 colors of pigment ink as well as black and white.  I loved the display and thought you might enjoy seeing it as well.

Sherry and Pat are doing the make and take at the Ranger booth and using the new pigment ink as well as playing with a brand new white gel pen that is fantastic.  Guess what!!!  They have tested, tested and retested and the pen doesn’t stop working when it only half way used. The flow is fantastic.  Woo Hoo!

Needless to say we have had a wonderful time.  We have one more day and I hope to bring you some more interesting pictures and news tomorrow.
