The Color Challenge on Splitcoaststampers today is to use Kraft, Orchid and Sage. We could substitute Caramel if we didn’t have Kraft and that is what I did. I needed a get well card for a friend and thought these colors would be fun to use with the sick piggy image from Farm Fever. I like the sage and orchid together and thought the little quilt would be cute in those colors. Of course, I had to add pink for the piggy but I used a little caramel on him as well as we all know piggy’s get dirty. And, after all, this piggy’s sick bed is outside in the trough as you can note the bucket of flowers in the dirt. The card is very simple with straight forward watercoloring and a little sponging. For some reason I love that sentiment. It makes me laugh.
