I created a scene tonight using no stamps. I sketched out my trees and fences and added color with watercolor brushes, sponges, daubers, nibs, ink pads and reinkers. I started stamping several years ago having no experience with sketching or coloring. As I have slowly honed my creative skills by being a community member of Splitcoaststampers I have also enjoyed sharing my new discoveries and techniques. Nothing makes me happier than teaching others to realize their own creative potential and helping them know it is alright to push the envelope and take chances. That is what this blog article is about. I have been giving thought to creating a product line that will include my scenery images, tools and recorded tutorials showing step by step instructions and for adding color and creating scenes. Here is where you come in. Please let me know if this product line would be of interest to you. I may be jumping off a cliff here and would love to know how much interest there would be. You could even let me know if you would be interested enough to place a no money down pre order to give me an idea of volume requirements to start. I will look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Kitty I would be interested too. I love and admire your work, and try to create like you but always seem to fail or fall short of the mark. I so admire what you do and your scenes are beautiful.
Kittie, count me in, I would love to purchase a kit. You’ve inspired me from the first day I discovered SCS. Hugs to you, I wish you all the best.

Well Kittie.. as I have said in the past you are my stampin Hero! So let me know where to send the money and I will be first in line for your product.
I have been really working hard recently on my backgrounds and scenes. I love the depth it adds to a piece. Some day I hope to have a portion of your talent at it. Just last week I changed my header to one with a scene, yours has always been an inspiration to me. Oh and BTW… I love the card today!

Oh, by the way, love the card today!
Kittie, how many times over the years have I asked you for help on my “Kittie” scenes? I am getting better with them, but I for one, would love to have your fences and trees since mine still stink. Since I’ll most likely never make it to Florida for a personalized class, a book or video/CD tutorial would be up my in my mailbox in a hurry.
Dear Kittie: As you know, from my very first post to SCS you have been the inspiration for my creations. I have learned so much from viewing your work and reading the “recipe” for each of your creations, that I know I would absolutely love to have personal instruction from you via a DVD format. Wow, how great that would be!
I also think this is the next step in your creative journey. So, go for it girl!! We are all anxiously awaiting our orders in the mail.
Your friend and attentive student, Wendy Gorton
Go for it Kittie – I’d love to be able to produce something close to a Kittie masterpiece!
Count me in Kittie. I am not sure a product is all the help I need, but it certainly couldn’t hurt me. I would love to see you come out with something and I for sure would sign up for a pre order.
I would love a kittie line. Count me in.
Kittie, I believe you have a large and devoted following who would love to be able to learn the methods you incorporate for your designs. While it might not appeal to everyone, as with many things, there certainly is a market for you in your audience.
Did that answer your question? Great talking to you today!

This is so exciting, Kitty! I think it is a wonderful idea. I would love to have a video tutorial of your tech.
Hugs, Fran
Honestly? I think you “must” take this chance, Kittie! You’re such a trailblazer in utilizing your ‘own’ ideas & creating images without stamps. And why not take this opportunity? You have so much to share, and obviously you have the desire to share & teach! And think of the “word of mouth” exponential growth too! For example: “Tex … how did you do this?” “I learned it through Kittie’s Kraft lessons! You can get them from Rubbernecker!”
*** See?! You’re the right person for this opportunity, Kittie. Yes … you really are!
~Bev
Are you kidding??? Can I be FIRST In line??? This is awesome, girl!! I wish I could draw something with no stamps!! LOVE it!!
Woo-hoo! I am so excited for you, my friend, and thrilled beyond imagination that you are going to take the plunge! Your work and gallery on SCS were one of the first I noticed when I joined. From day one, you’ve always answered my questions and given advice. I’ve been so fortunate to even have some of the lessons in person! YES, YES, YES!!! Go for it, and count me in! Hugs of happiness!

YES, YES, YES!!! Could there be any doubt – one has only to go to SCS to see how many people try to imitate you!!! Almost every day, I see a card that credits you with the “attempt” to case you! Your talent is without question and I for one would be so happy to get my hands on any stamps and/or accessories you create for your wonderful scenes. GO FOR IT!!
Almost looks like a watercolor painting! I would say “GO FOR IT!”. I would love to see your line! Sandy
I check your blog regularly, your talent and style is inspiring. I would be interested in your products and learning how to create scenes like you do.
Hi Kittie,
Wouldn’t we be the most fortunate stampers to have a tad of your talent wrapped up in a stamp or on a DVD format…in whatever way you choose to share your style with us…I would be so grateful! I have been an avid admirer of your work since I found you! Please let us know when you’ve made your decision..I say definitely “Yes!”
Great concept for your line of stamps. One of the reasons I follow you is because you create interesting backgrounds. I’m a painter who hasn’t painted in years and years, and this week I decided to bring it into my stamp world. I’m now on the justjohanna design team, and her stamps lend themselves to creating backgrounds. Good luck with your venture.
